Preventive Care

Child & Adolescent Dentistry

We see patients starting at their very first visit, usually during infancy! We will help your child establish healthy habits for life and address potential issues such as thumb-sucking, decay caused by baby bottles, and the potential need for braces.

For adolescents, we provide a wide range of age-specific services, including sealants, mouth guards for sports, and more!

Adult Dentistry

As we age, our teeth and gums can experience lots of wear. For our adult patients, we offer services including typical oral maintenance, cosmetic dentistry, and restorative dentistry.

Endodontics

Endodontics addresses the nerves of your teeth and includes procedures such as root canals. When teeth get infected, the infected nerve must be removed to prevent serious issues such as bone loss. If you need a root canal or a root canal retreatment, we can help!

Periodontics

When we’re looking at your teeth, we also make sure your gums are in good shape. Periodontics is the treatment of your gums, and we’ll make sure you don’t show any symptoms of periodontal diseases (such as gingivitis).

How do you treat periodontal disease?
Periodontal diseases are chronic and require fast action. Our services, including root planing & scaling, periodontal cleanings, laser therapy, and antibiotics, can help control this condition. Surgery may be necessary in serious cases.

TMJ

TMJ, or the temporomandibular joint, connects your lower jaw (the mandible) to your skull at the temporal bone. This controls functions like chewing. If you’re experiencing jaw pain, headaches, or other symptoms, you may have temporomandibular joint disorder, or TMD. We can help diagnose TMD and suggest the right treatment for you.

Restorative Dentistry

Bridges

If you have missing teeth, bridges are a great way to “bridge” the space between two healthy teeth! Bridges not only improve the look of your smile but can help prevent future jaw damage.

Crowns

Crowns are a great way to restore and protect teeth that are cracked or showing signs of wear or decay. They can be made of porcelain or gold, and are fitted over the problem tooth to protect it for years to come.

Dentures

We offer both conventional and immediate dentures:

  • Conventional Full Dentures involve removing all teeth and giving the tissue time to heal, then placing dentures. The tissue can take months to heal, during which you will not have teeth.
  • Immediate Full Dentures – Before removing your teeth, we’ll fit you for dentures. After removing the teeth, the dentures are immediately placed in your mouth. You will, however, need to have a follow-up visit for a refitting, because the jaw bone will change shape as your mouth heals.

Implants

Implants are a great, permanent way to replace missing teeth, without altering any of your surrounding teeth. The first part of treatment involves placing a titanium fixture in your jaw bone, which we then let heal for 3-6 months. We can place temporary crowns as your jaw heals, while we create your permanent restoration.

Am I a candidate for dental implants?
With current advancements in dental technology, almost everyone is a candidate for dental implants! During your first visit, we’ll address any risk factors, including chronic illness, heart disease, and severe osteoporosis.

Cosmetic Dentistry

Bonding

Bonding is a way to cover cracks, stains, gaps, and fill holes, using a tooth-colored resin. Bonding protects your teeth and offers a more natural aesthetic than traditional metal fillings.

Veneers

For covering the appearance of cracked, stained, or missing teeth, veneers are a great option! They are thin ceramic shells placed over your existing teeth. The process takes two to three visits, and the final veneer takes about three weeks to make in the fabrication laboratory.

Whitening

Aging, along with drinking coffee, wine, smoking, and certain foods, can make our smiles appear dull and stained. We use a customized two-step whitening system to make your smile brighter than ever. After making an impression of your teeth, we build whitening trays for you to use over and over.

Is teeth whitening worth it?
Teeth whitening is a cost-effective and safe way to brighten your smile and remove stains. Over the years, fluoride has been added to whitening products, reducing the risk of tooth and gum sensitivity.
